I rap over beats.
When did you start?
Christmas Eve 1986 at 1:45 a.m.
How was your first show/performance?
My first show went extremely well. So many of my good friends showed up. It was a great time.
What would you like to gain from your work?
To keep developing my craft, while trying to make every record and performance better than the last. And to reach as many people as I possibly can.
What would you like your audience to gain from your work?
I want them to gain something. If ten different people listen to the same song, it would be dope if all ten had a different interpretation: That’s like killing ten birds with one stone.
Who or what are your biggest influences?
My family and friends. Plus, my life—what I’ve seen and how I’ve felt—comes out through my recordings.
What keeps you up at night?
Eating tacos.
What’s next?
I’m currently working on a LP with producer/madman, Falside. It’s our follow-up to The Mechanics EP that was released in November 2011.
