I live in Normal, Illinois—but I’m straight out the Dagobah system.

I rap about things.

I remember writing shitty raps as a kid and recording a rap for my answering machine at the crib, but moms told me to take it off since important people were calling. But I’d say high school: Sophomore year was when I was getting down for real. So I’ve been at it for about 6 or 7 years.

My first performance was funny. Matter of fact, I think the shit’s still on YouTube. I was just up there rapping with my homies who did the beats. We were goofy-ass teenagers just tryna do shit… [laughs] After that, though, we started doing more and more shows. Around that time, I was rocking with my brothers as The Morlocks, and we would tear shit up at the coffee shop in our town.

I wanna tour everywhere for the rest of my life, live in a pocket of independent rap (and do so comfortably), link up with different producers, put out projects, and make dough so I can get some pizza and roll up. Oh, and have a spot not in Normal.

That I rip shit and don’t fuck around when it comes to the bars and beats. Everybody/anybody can rap—but you can’t rap like this. I’m the only one who sounds like me, and I like that. Rap can be anything you want it to be, so shut the fuck up and make some music. Period.

Life. All I write about is the shit that I encounter in life. Makes it easy to connect w/ cats and take ‘em down some unexplored asymptotes. And it’s never the same shit every day or every song. Same way life is: shit’s consistent, but never the same.

Make as many moves as I can through the Interweb and talking to folks as far as my music goes. Within the next couple months, I’m tryna move out to Cali with one of my homies and see what can happen.
