Burgundy Blood; hexagonal rapper.

What do you do?
We follow our primal creative instincts: music, videos and art.
When did you start?
2012.
How was your first show/performance?
It was great. We met my idol, Kool Keith, and supported the Ultramagnetic MCs. Definitely a good start. Then he jumped on a track on our debut album, Suede Comet, which was even better.
What would you like to gain from your work?
To create the plateau that enables us to step up to the next level. Everything we do is a journey to the next adventure.
What would you like your audience to gain from your work?
Life fulfilling moments of clarity, and to develop as humans.
Who or what are your biggest influences?
Musically: Wu-Tang Clan and A Tribe Called Quest—that’s the dark and light of what’s influenced us the most. We toured with the Wu this year, which was inspiring. Outside of music, maybe Jim Jarmusch—a comical take on cool that’s also cool.
What keeps you up at night?
Children.
What’s next?
No more children. Also an EP with Kid Acne and then our next album.
