Rapper, producer, beatmaker.
When did you start?
Formed a group called Betta Half in 2005 but started doing solo work in 2010.
How was your first show/performance?
Did my first performance when I was 12 years old at a talent show. A friend and I from school had written a song and recorded it at his cousin’s house. When we hit the stage and performed it: We killed it! The crowd was rocking with us. A couple people came up and asked us for autographs afterwards—it was crazy.
What would you like to gain from your work?
Respect as one of the best in the game. Money and fame would definitely be a plus, but I just want to be known for having the dopest music out.
What would you like your audience to gain from your work?
To just be yourself, do what makes you happy in life, and enjoy the time you got on this Earth.
Who or what are your biggest influences?
DMX, Three 6 Mafia, Eminem, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Pastor Troy, 2Pac, Slow Motion Soundz, Limp Bizkit, System of a Down…I could go on all day.
What keeps you up at night?
Striving to be better and perfecting my craft. My goal’s to make each song better than the last.
What’s next?
Just dropped The Huntsvillian 2 in November. Make sure you cop that! Got a couple projects in the works: one’s an EP with Demise Collective outta NYC, and the other’s a tape with my homie Supa Sortahuman. Both should be out sometime this year. Also planning on doing more shows and producing more often.
