Who are you?
Tha REINFORCEMENTS.
Where do you live?
Vallejo, Oakland, San Francisco, Pittsburg, Richmond—all over the Bay Area, California.
What do you do?
We’re an underground music group. We make music and sell it out the trunk. We’ve sold over 20,000 CDs in the Bay Area, Reno, Nevada, and Los Angeles. We’re also working on our own clothing line; t-shirts for girls and guys.
When did you start?
We made our first CD, Sluggproof “Taking Over the Underground,” over six years ago.
How was your first show/performance?
We were invited to a birthday bash for Acktup; we hadn’t planed on performing at all. We just came to pass out flyers and possibly get a shout-out or something… We ending up rockin’ it for the first time, and we really made a big impression.
What would you like your audience to gain from your work?
Game, laughter and a good time.
Who or what are your biggest influences?
2Pac. And 2Pac only.
What keeps you up at night?
Our dreams and goals.
